Renan Zimmermann: Co-founder & Director

Renan has six years experience in slackline and 4 years with rigging and practicing highlining. Athlete and artist, Renan is highly motivated to push limits, break records and establish big projects. They are passionate about learning, teaching and performing movement arts to everybody. At Antigravity Art, Renan plays the role of back office administration, public relationships and creation.

Hai Tai: Co-founder & Director

Hai Thai is a long-time slackliner based out of Virginia, learning the ropes over a decade and a half ago. During his tenure, Hai has been involved in the local and global slackline community, having established many of the East Coast's classic highlines while also being involved with the International Slackline Association. In his role as the ISA Safety Commission President, he's helped to increase safety and awareness in slackline communities across the globe and also worked closely with manufacturers to establish and update gear standards. Hai also has a passion for teaching - he's mentored many slackliners from their first steps in the park to their first sends on a highline and also actively participates as an instructor for the ISA highline rigger certifications.

Melissa Batson: PhD - Co-founder & Director

Dr Batson has extensive experience investigating the neuroscience of perception, perceptual learning, motor learning and the relationship between motor and cognitive learning. Combining her academic knowledge with the philosophies of her many athletic achievements she decided to leave academia to start Movement Ashram, backed by her own research, in the United States and in India. She is also a co-founder of the non profit organization Climb Like A Woman (https://www.climblikeawoman.com/) which aims to  empower women through exposure to climbing and outdoor education in India, and has been helping to expand the slackline, highline, and skateboarding communities in India for the past decade.
Yury SALVA

Yury Salva is a professional rigger and highliner who is both ISA, IRATA Level 2 and Sprat Level 3 certified to rig and work at heights. With 10 years of highline experience under his belt working anywhere from festival performances, to being a lead rigger for the world record 3km line rigged in Nevada, October 2024. Yury is passionate about rigging amazing highlines, where his energy is focused on making sure the anchors and highline systems are strong and safe for use.
Marshall Scott
Sprat level 2 | IRATA level 1 | ISA Rigger | ISA Teacher | CPR/AED | Eagle scout
 
Rigging and rope play has been a staple of Marshall’s life since cub scouts. Whether it's on the clock or off the clock, he has found enjoyment in creating safe and functional rigs for himself and others for almost 2 decades.

Alex started slacklining in 2020 and started highlining in 2021. In Freestyle Highlining he’s currently ranked #5 in the world by the International Slackline Association. He’s invented many world’s first tricks and performed professionally on a couple different projects including the Roanoke Go Fest, the RiverRock Outdoor Festival in Virginia, and coached performers on Royal Caribbean Cruise Ships around the world in Highlining.

Alexandra Witter holds the U.S. women’s record for the longest highline sent (crossed without falling) at 1.2 km. She has followed her passion for big lines across the United States and around the world, most recently sharing the sport with slackline communities in Colombia and South Africa. Now she leads workshops on headspace, meditation, and working with fear, helping others build the mental tools to move through doubt and intensity on the line. One of her favorite ways to find calm is to sing while walking, turning highlining into a moment of connection and performance.
